Suitable for a Wide Range of Industrial (Waste) Fractions

Our Mobile Bio-Converter is a flexible composting and drying installation suitable for the processing and valorization of a wide range of industrial waste and residue fractions. It can also be used as a pre-drying step for various industrial processes. The installation is delivered in a 40-foot container (12m) which is completely equipped with all necessary components and technology. Our software can be used to operate and monitor the Mobile Bio-Converter remotely by both our support team and the end-user. To make it as easy as possible for our industrial clients, Circuworld offers technical support, maintenance packages, and operational support in collaboration with our industry partner if desired. This means that we can manage and supervise the entire process remotely and when needed, also on site.

Proven Technology

The Mobile Bio-Converter is proven technology, based on more than 40 years of experience with composting and the processing of more than 100 different organic residual fractions. The Mobile Bio-Converter is an innovative further advancement of existing and proven technology in a smaller package; a mobile 40-foot container. The Circuworld team has designed, built and operated organic waste treatment installations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, United Kingdom and Canada.

WHY CHOOSE THE MOBILE BIO-CONVERTER INDUSTRY?

COST REDUCTION!

Key benefits of the Mobile Bio-Converter technology are the clear cost reductions for tipping fees, transportation costs and other waste related charges. Depending on the feedstock, also a marketable organic fertilizer product can be produced for which Circuworld can assist with the off-take, offering an upside in addition to above-mentioned cost reductions.

UTILIZATION OF SUSTAINABLY RECOVERED HEAT

During the Mobile Bio-Converter composting process, a significant amount of heat is produced which can be recovered. By means of our Heat Recovery Technology, Circuworld is able to reuse this heat (through water as medium) at a temperature of around 70 °C for on-site application. On average, this is around 200-250 kWh of heat per day, which is the equivalent amount of heat used by four households. This obviously results in further cost savings and the possible utilization of sustainably recovered heat for a wide range of industrial purposes.

EASY OPERATIONS

After placement on a paved surface, connection to electricity (400V, 32kVA) and to the internet (>2Mb/s), the Mobile Bio-Converter is immediately ready for use. The Mobile Bio-Converter can be loaded with the solid manure fraction using a telehandler or small Bobcat. In addition to limited space for the Mobile Bio-Converter, storage space is also required for approximately 50 tons. Circuworld provides the operational support and necessary training for proper operation and correct loading and emptying of the Mobile Bio-Converter. Circuworld also offers the option to buy-off additional maintenance costs. This makes using the Mobile Bio-Converter safe, simple and without financial surprises. So easy!

SHORT RETENTION TIME AND HIGH ON-SITE PROCESSING CAPACITY

In case of composting, the process of operating the Mobile Bio-Converter will take no more than 4 hours per week. Capacity in this case is about 35-40 tons for the first batch, and 10-15 tons for the second batch. Loading and unloading 1 batch takes an average of 1-1.5 hours, and the total average retention time is about 8 days. In case of composting, the processing capacity is 2,000 tons per year (average dry matter content of between 25-30%).

(BIOLOGICAL) DRYING

The Mobile Bio-Converter can also be used for the (biological) drying of biomass, feed, crop produce and a wide range of other fractions. Drying can help increase the calorific value of biomass and RDF, and can be an efficient pre-treatment step for other processes.  As such, using the Mobile Bio-Converter as drying technology can result in increased capacity of existing infrastructure. Drying of feedstock can also help reduce transportation costs and emissions.
